Common situations

Where businesses
usually start.

Each scenario draws on more than one service — which is how the pieces normally fit together in practice.

What changes

The practical difference.

Not promises — the three shifts that most consistently show up once an engagement is running properly.

Visibility before action

Most SMEs do not fail on effort. They fail on not knowing which number to move first.

  • Baseline established before any change
  • Cost visible by product and process
  • Constraint identified with evidence

Funding that actually lands

Government programmes reward completeness and fit. A well-built application is a competitive advantage.

  • Matched to the right programme, not the loudest
  • Business plan built to assessors' criteria
  • Submission tracked through to decision

Capability that stays

The measure of a good engagement is what still works eighteen months after we leave.

  • Team trained to run the new process
  • Documentation handed over in full
  • No dependency on the consultant

Before you ask

Common questions.

If your question is not here, ask it directly — the first answer costs nothing.

HRD Corp funding is tied to an employer, so the company registration generally needs to be in place first. We handle both in sequence — registration first, then the training provider application and programme claim — so you are not managing two agencies at once.

No. Up to 100% of course fees may be claimable for eligible employers on HRD Corp-approved courses, but eligibility and the approved amount are determined by HRD Corp. We confirm your position before anything is scheduled, and we design programmes around what you are actually entitled to claim.

It depends entirely on scope and how much we can integrate with your existing operation. A focused diagnostic phase is typically shorter; a full D5™ cycle from diagnosis to handover runs across a longer horizon. We give you a realistic timeline in the proposal — no optimistic estimates.

No, and any consultant who does is overpromising. Awards depend on programme rules, eligibility windows, available budget and assessment. What we can do is make your application complete, well-evidenced and genuinely matched to the programme — which is what separates approvals from rejections.

Yes. Entry into the Malaysian market usually involves entity setup, permits and sometimes local knowledge you cannot get remotely. We coordinate that through our government and professional network, and we work in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin.

Nothing. The first 30-minute session is completely free. You describe the situation, we tell you what we see and whether we are the right fit. You leave with a clearer next step regardless of whether you engage us.
